Time to take the leap

Seduction City has been delivering delicious chillout music to your ears for over three years now. During that time, our audience has grown, as has our music library.  However, over the last six months or so the we've hit a plateau of 4,000 to 5,000 listener-hours per month.

The station is set up to accommodate ten times that amount. Thus, we are taking the next step in the growth of Seduction City.

We are getting listed on itunes.

This announcement is a tad bit premature since we aren't on there yet. I submitted the station for consideration last week and assuming all goes well, it should be live by the end of the year.

So thank you to all of our listeners for getting us this far.  And hold on to your knickers and join us as we take the next step.

First itunes...then the WORLD.

Follow the music

Do you want to be the first kid on your block that knows about the seductronica being played on Seduction City?

Then follow us on Twitter!  We don't have anything to say, but we always have good tunes to tweet!

Anatomy of The City

Seduction City isn't composed only of majestic skyscrapers and towering high rises.

Nay.  It also includes smaller, more modest one bedroom apartment buildings and rent-controlled studios

Similarly, Our playlist contains the normal chillout staples that you already know and love, as well as obscure remixed gems and glorious new stuff.

For example, take the Seven24 and Zetandel remix of ATB's Desperate Religion.

Easy Breeze-y

Tracked down a number of chill remixes done by a producer code-named Christopher Breeze.  Very nice.  You won't find 'em anywhere else on Live365 except Seduction City.  Let me know what you think.

Mission: Improbable

Talk about playing "hard to get"...

There is a band named Abbie Gale from Greece. They've got a song called "Letters". Now that song in itself is not difficult to obtain--it's on itunes. But the obscure "Chris Nemmo Postman Mix" of the song? Fuhgeddaboudit. You'd have better luck tracking down the O.J. Simpson bloody glove or the Whitewater tapes.

Fortunately, I'm too dumb to give up that easy.

There exists a very hard-to-find compilation by Dimitris Papaspyropoulos called "Before the Summer Came" which has the song. Apparently it was distributed free in some magazine back in 2008.

I'll save you the trouble of finding it, because I did already. Listen for it on the upcoming Seductronica compilation coming soon.

In the meantime, here's a taste:

The moon needs some Kleenex.

Long-time listeners of Seduction City are no doubt familiar with Conjure One, the spin-off project of Rhys Fulbur of Delerium that has produced three albums. One of the key songs from the eponymous first album of that project has been remixed many-a-time but I don't think any of 'em are as good as the one by Carmen Rizzo.
